Freeze Dry fame spreads

A piece I wrote for ZDNet Australia on Windows Vista’s Freeze Dry technology a couple of weeks ago had some interesting consequences. Details of the technology, most notably the name itself, hadn’t been announced before, and as a result both eWeek and ZDNet US ran hasty follow-ups the next day based on bare-bones confirmation from Microsoft. There’s nothing a specialist journo likes less than not getting first dibs on stuff relevant to their beat. I’m not that specialised a journo, so I’m happy just to have found the story.
