Share A Secret Reviewed looks at the weekly Share A Secret column in Australia's biggest-selling magazine, Woman's Day. We at Gusworld love it, and we hope you will too. We don't give away the plot (that would be unfair and a possible breach of copyright); we just tell you what the headline is and describe the stunning artwork that goes with it.
Woman's Day dated June 24th, 1996
I FOUND MY PARENTS WERE SWINGERS
Shewas devastated when she found that the video she watched while baby-sitting starred mum, dad and friends
She wasn't devastated when she was forced to go out in public in a striped T-shirt made out of crochet ribbon, but I guess it's all relative. For a 15-year old, she's also wearing a rather unusual number of rings and has absolutely no taste in overalls. Nonetheless, the shock of this devastating secret may have unduly affected her fashion sense. On the whole, given Woman's Day's passion for exaggeration, we should be grateful that the story isn't about the poor girl seeing her father on a swing in the local park.
