Rant Of The Day is where I get to mouth off about whatever I feel like for however long I like. Theoretically, I'll update my whinge/opinion piece every weekday; in practice, maybe not so often.

Bits and pieces

• A four-day working holiday in Queensland, which I enjoyed greatly, thank you very much. Warning: don't drink 15 tequilla slammers in a row. Well, not if you have to pay for them.
• Magazine deadline, overwork, all the usual boredom.
• A long wait for the next chapter of Eye Of The Tigress from Steven Keaton. Subscribers to the Gusworld mailing list were recently informed that Steven was locked in a cellar working on his chapter. Steven has since asked me to issue a statement clarifying that (a) he is not locked in the same cellar that appeared in Chapter 5 and 6 of the novel (b) he is definitely not locked in the cellar with 'Keefy' (c) there are no gimps, sheep or birch sticks anywhere in the aforementioned cellar.
• Endless remorse over the Di tragedy. Actually, that last point is bullshit.

Anyway, I'm back (although the site may be undergoing spring-cleaning soon).
